These 40 ton cars were built by the United States Railway Administration to aid the WW1 war effort. This car features wooden sides with built-up steel fishbelly underframe and KC brakes with a vertical brake shaft and wheel. They were seen in steam and diesel consists until the mid-60's with the TH&B car reported in service until 1972.

These cars feature injection molded ABS bodies and detail parts with 24 metal grab irons. Cars will come appropriately with Andrews trucks 50 ton trucks. The trucks will cast in Zamac, have Celcon® bearings and be fully sprung and equalized. Cars are ready to run equipped with American Flyer® compatible metal wheels and couplers and also supplied with code 110 scale wheelsets and the mounting holes for the KD 802 couplers. |
