Extended Vision Cabooses started to appear on the railroads in the 50's and most were made by the International Car Company. Our model was built by ICC for the C&O in 1968, which built over 200 cars.

When the C&O, B&O and WM merged in the 70's, these were painted in Chessie System livery. Several carried the colorful "Safety Caboose" paint schemes.
