Extended Vision Cabooses started to appear on the railroads in the 50's and most were made by the International Car Company. Our model was built by ICC for the C&O in 1968, which built over 200 cars.

  • Full interior includes hand-painted two-man crew
  • Miner brake wheels with AB brakes
  • Barber "Swing Motion" sprung and equalized trucks
  • Illuminated interior and marker lights
  • Photoengraved brass running boards on earlier models
  • Opening end doors
  • All windows are glazed with "Crystal Styrene"
  • Two or more numbers produced for all roadnames

  • When the C&O, B&O and WM merged in the 70's, these were painted in Chessie System livery. Several carried the colorful "Safety Caboose" paint schemes.
