In all cases, the Lenz DCC starter set included is the top-of-the-line Lenz Set-100 with an FCI 5 Amp power supply. This set is complete and ready to run:

Assemble track
Connect DCC system to track (2 wires)
Plug hand-held throttle into DCC system
Connect power supply to DCC system (2 wires)
Plug in power supply
Run trains!

This is a full featured system, expandable to meet your DCC needs now and in the future. The sets above that are listed as no sound means only that there is no sound decoder in the locomotive. The Lenz Set-100 is fully capable of operating any DCC sound locomotive. The Lenz Set-100 can also be connected to your existing layout and used to operate multiple locomotives (including Gilbert AF).
