There have been some requests for a video of the 2-8-0 with LocoMatic™ sound, comparable to the videos with the prototype Tsunami DCC installation. I (Bill Clark) have been immersed in the DCC side, so that's where I shot the video. The LocoMatic™ version of the Consolidation is also impressive, I just wasn't working with it.
Here are two videos I shot on my test track. This is the same MEC 2-8-0 as in the DCC video, but with a LocoMatic board installed. Again, I'm running both the camera and the loco, but I think the video quality is comparable to the DCC video!
The third video shows two LocoMatic powered locos running on the SHS demo layout.
